Chloe + Isabel Shipping and Guarantees

I don't know about you, but I've always loved getting mail. Like real mail, not junk mail (or bills!). I'm an avid online shopper and the anticipation of receiving my stuff always makes my day a little brighter.

As a merchandiser (Merchie) for Chloe + Isabel, I can tell you that what I call Box Day is the BEST day of any week. I place an order, wait a few days, and a box of jewelry goodness shows up at my door. I follow my tracking diligently and whenever I hear a truck that sounds like mail delivery on my delivery date, I'm looking out my front door (if I'm lucky enough to be home when it arrives). That's why I hate trash day - the trash truck sounds similar to FedEx and that's just a tease.

So today is a Box Day.

Ahhhh! The anticipation!

As we're waiting for my Box, let me tell you a a little about C+I policies relating to shipping and other fun.
  1. Shipping for orders under $99.99 is $5.95 and your Box will arrive in 5-7 days (or sooner if you live near Houston, TX where distribution is).
  2. Free shipping comes with orders over $100.
  3. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee - you order, you get it, it just doesn't suit you? Call customer service (Care) and they'll help you initiate a return. Easy peasy.
  4. We offer a lifetime warranty. On costume jewelry. Seriously. Two years from now a stone falls out of your ring? Call Care. If we still have the piece, we'll replace it. If not, you'll receive credit for the price of the item and you can find another jewel to love.
Like videos? Check me out here talking about shipping and policies.

My Box! Stay tuned to see what's inside...

Free shipping? A 30-day money-back guarantee (on non-sale items)? A LIFETIME warranty on jewelry? Unheard of. And totally awesome.

You Getting $25 Credit for Spending $100 at Chloe + Isabel

During the Semi-Annual Sale we started another promotion that has been fantastic - spend $100, and not only do you receive free shipping, you'll receive a $25 credit towards your next purchase. Spend $200, get $50, etc.

The credit is good for 30 days after your purchase (so if you purchase on July 27 you'll have 30 days from them to use your credit). It ends July 27 though, so rack up those credits now ladies!

What could you buy with $100? Here's my choice...I could theoretically order the necklace and bracelet (a little over $100) then buy the earrings separately and pay shipping on the earrings (but only pay $3 for the earrings)...just a thought...things that make you go hm...

What about you? What would you buy? Let me know in the comments - I love to see what people pick from the collections!

BUY IT: Shop my boutique for this great opportunity before it ends 7/27!

Chloe + Isabel The Friendship Philosophy - Are you a Chloe or an Isabel?

I went shopping with a friend a few days ago at H&M. I had never shopped with this friend, so I was interested to see what she picked out. She went for bold prints on the dresses she chose, but went for understated skirts and jackets that could be paired together or work separately.

Think about your best girl friend. Is she exactly like you? Or is she different in her style, her likes, and her jewelry? Chloe + Isabel, as a brand, is styled after two styles, two friends if you will, who are the best of friends, but choose different styles.

We see these "friends" in our customers, in ourselves, and we see them in the jewelry they choose. A "Chloe" is a trendsetter - she chooses bold pieces with lots of color, lots of flash, and has got that layering thing down. An "Isabel" is more understated and chooses her jewelry for its utility. She's not out to "bling," she's out to look "put together" and uses her jewelry to complete her style. Some of us are "Cloe-bels" - we choose both types of pieces and feel comfortable in both.

So let's see some examples, shall we?

Chloe picks:

Jardin Fuchsia Stud Earrings and Jardin Majorelle Statement Necklace

Art Deco Trapeze Earrings and Art Deco Chain Swag Statement Necklace

Jardin Majorelle Toggle Bracelet, Medina Hexagon Pave Bangles, Casablanca Multi-Wrap Bracelet, and Marrakesh Silk Cord Bracelet

Isabel picks:

Classic Pearl Stud Earrings and Pearl + Crystal Drops Long Necklace (wrapped twice)

Crystal Pave Hoop Earrings and the Three Row Paillette Graduated Pendant

Sculpted Metal Double Drop Earrings, Paillette Teardrop Earrings, Pressed Paillette Toggle Bracelet, Pressed Paillette Long Necklace

I personally started as a Merchie as an Isabel. I was all about the understated pieces and bright colors and lots of bling were NOT my thing (or thang). As I continued working with C+I and saw the Chloe pieces on others though, I started eyeing more stylized pieces, more colorful pieces, and I will now say that I'm a happy Cloe-bel.

The next question is, which are you? Take this quiz to find out, and tell me in the comments if you're a Chloe, an Isabel, or a Cloe-bel.

Take the quiz - which are you?

Merchandisers also take the Friendship Philosophy (or what I call the Girlfriend Philosophy) to another level. We're not here to push hard sales like you see in other places. If someone asks me if I'm a salesperson I make a face because that's not how I think of myself at all. I'm here to help you pick jewelry, just as a good girl friend would. I'll help you style that outfit you're having trouble with, and I'm not in this to "upsell" you by choosing the most expensive piece to complete your look. I'm going to choose the piece that fits you and the look, regardless of the price. Just as a good girl friend would.

Like videos? Check out this one I did about the Friendship Philosophy and the different pieces I use to demonstrate Chloes and Isabels.

Why Chloe + Isabel?

Thanks for checking out my blog! My name is Liz Wright, and I am a merchandiser for Chloe + Isabel Jewelry out of San Antonio, Texas. I started with Chloe + Isabel in May 2014 and have loved every day since then of working with this company. A lot of people asked me why I started selling jewelry “on the side,” so I wanted to explain.

In my 9-5 I am a college professor, a Mom, a wife, and all sorts of other things. I have always loved makeup and fashion but you would never be able to tell that – I was always very simple in how I dressed, how I did my makeup, how I did my hair, and in what jewelry I wore. After I finished my PhD in November 2013, I got kind of…well…bored. I got into nail polish and nail art for a while and bought a lot of Julep nail products. Julep at one point paired with Chloe +Isabel to showcase how the jewelry fit with the nail colors, and I was intrigued. I really wanted to try their stuff. So I went on Facebook and asked who sold C+I because I wanted to support a merchandiser.
            *Crickets*
Hm. That got me thinking. If I don’t know anyone, I wonder what it takes to become a merchandiser? I could do that. I think I would enjoy it. And it would give me an opportunity to expand my jewelry collection (and even my fashion closet). So I applied to be a merchandiser. I interviewed with a recruiter and was told that she loved my enthusiasm, and I signed up the next day (yes, I know recruiters say that all the time).
You may be thinking, “This is direct sales. You pay for something then you sell it, it’s a scam,” and I will tell you 2,000,000 percent that I was checking into this from day 1 to make sure. And I was impressed by everything I read. Merchandisers said they were happy, loved their jobs, and loved the jewelry. They loved their team mates. Team mates?
Once I signed up I was placed on the Southwest team (#teamsouthwest represent!) with two amazing leaders, Liz and Kaitlyn. Leslie is my merchandise manager for the San Antonio area and they are ALL here to help me be awesome. I remember reading about women loving their teammates, and it is true. We are a team. There is no competition (aside from some truly friendly competition). We all have our own customers. We compete against…ourselves. We set goals, and we work on them. You work as much as you want. Everyone is here to support each other.
Let me repeat that, because it’s amazing: women supporting each other in the business world. It’s a beautiful thing.
This cute wreath was made by my MM Leslie Evans

So then why create a blog to go along with my jewelry business? I would love to be able to showcase some of the amazing pieces I’ve come across. I’d love to tell you about sales, new releases, and just utter fabulousness. So I will. Right here.
            Speaking of fabulous..
Loving this look

Me. Being fabulous. In our Multi-Strand Signature Torsade (#N001PI) and ClassicPearl Stud Earrings (#E191). I LOVE this necklace. I will tell you right now I started as a merchandiser thinking these Torsades (we have a few types) were too much. But they grew on me. And so I had to borrow Leslie’s to see just what I was missing. Drool…
You may wonder, “OK so how’s your jewelry collection now Liz?” Well, you’ve seen the name of my blog. It’s The Jewelry Bug. I have the jewelry bug. And it’s a bad one. It gets in your blood and makes you wonder when you can place your next order and what it should be. And just like any virus, it’s communicable – I can give it to you. So you better watch out. I’ve found some ladies who are also infected with the Chloe + Isabel Jewelry Bug as well. When you start dressing by first choosing your jewelry… you have the bug. When you buy clothes to match the jewelry you have coming in the mail this week…the bug. And I have no idea what these feel like because I DO NOT do these. Ever.
Thanks for reading today! Welcome to the Jewelry Bug. It’s like a new TV channel – all C+I (and matching fashion) all the time.
            Catch The Bug.

Buy it now: Want to get my look?  Get the Multi-Strand Signature Torsade (#N001PI) and ClassicPearl Stud Earrings (#E191) from my boutique (and make sure that your Merchandiser is Liz Wright when you check out).
